Export/Import Events

A great way to stay on top of your schedule is to sync your personal calendar with Ledger. You can easily do this by integrating Google Calendar or exporting events using iCal/ICS files.

What is an ICS file?

An ICS (iCalendar) file is a widely used standard for exchanging calendar and scheduling information between different software applications. ICS files typically have a .ics extension. This file type allows you to easily import events created from another calendar app to your preferred calendar.

Exported ICS file from Ledger will include the following information about an event:

  • Event name
  • Date
  • Time
  • Organizer
  • Participants
  • Description
  • Conference links (Zoom etc).

How to export an event

  1. Open the event to export.
  2. Click the calendar icon next to the event's name.
  3. Click Download ICS file.

The .ics file is automatically saved to your default download folder.

How to import an event to your Outlook Calendar

  3. From the Import and Export Wizard box, click Import an iCalendar (.ics) > Next.
