Archive or Delete a Stream
If you no longer need a stream, you can either archive or delete it. Archiving removes the stream from the sidebar, but you can still access it from the All Stream > Archive tab. Deleting permanently removes from the workspace.
NOTE: You can't make edits to an archived stream. If you want to edit or delete a message, make changes to a task or event, or delete files, you must restore the stream.
How to archive a stream
- From the sidebar, hover over the stream to archive.
- Click the ellipsis icon next to the stream's name.
- Click Archive from the menu.
- A warning message pops up. If you are sure, click Archive.
The stream is removed from the sidebar and folders.
How to restore or delete an archived stream
If you need to restore or delete a stream, follow these steps.
- From the sidebar, click All Streams.
- Click the Archived tab.
- Click the ellipsis icon next to the stream's name.
- Select an option from the menu and confirm.
The restored stream appears in the sidebar and the folder. The deleted stream is permanently removed from the workspace.
How to delete a stream
- From the sidebar, hover over the stream to delete.
- Click the ellipsis icon next to the stream's name.
- Click Delete from the menu.
- A warning message pops up. If you are sure, click Delete.
The stream is permanently removed from the workspace.
NOTE: Deleting a stream will result in the permanent removal of all messages, tasks, events, and files. Once deleted, this data cannot be retained.
